Embroidered jewellery + a sale!

A few bits of news to share! I have made a collection of embroidered jewellery which is in the shop now. There are brooches, pendants and even a pair of earrings. All lovingly handstitched by yours truly. :-) There is only one of each. Check 'em out here.

The 2013 calendar panels are almost all gone - and I will not be ordering more, so if you want one, now's the time to strike! :-) Eep! The calendars have completely sold out now. Thank you very much!

If you're planning on using any of the goodies from the Polka & Bloom shop as Christmas presents, then these are the recommended posting dates from Royal Mail. And posting sooner rather than later is best of course, because all sorts of interesting things can happen to slow down mail... especially this time of year! ;-)

2013 Polka & Bloom calendar panels in the shop!

The 2013 Polka & Bloom calendar panels are in the shop! Or rather, pre-orders of the second lot, because the first lot has sold out already!! I can't even say how happy that makes me! Every new design feels like a bit of a gamble... "will people even like this?!" I'm always so happy when it turns out that people do like it. :-)

There are two colourways: grey outline and colour outline. The calendar is inspired by colourful Scandinavian embroidery. Lots of flowers, leaves and a few hearts too!

You can of course embellish the calendar as much or as little as you like. I've started filling in some of the leaves with satin stitching. And highlighted our wedding anniversary with a wee box. A slightly wonky box... but never mind.. ;-)

2012 calendars on sale!

There's just a few left of the 2012 Polka & Bloom calendars! Actually, the one on the lower right is sold out and there's only or two left of each of the other ones.

I won't be getting any more of these calendars, so now's the time to strike! Shipping is free to anywhere in the world. :-)

2012 Calendars new colour to pre-order!

Thank you very much for your kind comments and emails about the fabric calendars! Two of the designs have sold out and there are just three calendars left of the current batch!

I'll be re-ordering the next lot later tonight, so if you'd like one of the two designs (Red Outline and Green Outline) which have already sold out, you can pre-order them now to make sure you get the one you want!

I'll also be ordering a Blue Outline version, so if you're interested in that, please make a pre-order so I can know how many to put in this lot.

Make 2012 a Polka & Bloom year!

I've been stitching on something brand new: 2012 Polka & Bloom calendar panels! So very exciting! They're the perfect gift or just something to make for yourself.

You can stitch over the lines in the design, with 2-3 strands of floss you should be able to cover them fairly well with any colour you like. Or add buttons, beads or whatever embellishment you fancy. Make it your own!

There are two different colour ways: red and green. And two different types: a delicate linework version and one that's a bit more full-on with the colours. Only two available of each version at the moment. So get in there while stocks last.

They may just get to you before Christmas if you buy 'em now. Would be a pretty nice Christmas present for the stitchily inclined in your life! Just $15 with free shipping anywhere. :-)
